TURNKEY SOLUTION FOR HELEN’S PATOLA PROJECT

Premekon Oy has received a new order from Helen Oy for the Patola heat pump plant and electric boiler project to be built in Helsinki. In the project, Premekon will be responsible for the design, manufacturing, and installation of maintenance platforms and steel structures as a turnkey solution.

The facility to be constructed in the Patola production area is part of Helen’s district heating development projects. The project includes a new air-to-water heat pump plant as well as electric boilers, with the aim of reducing emissions from heat production and increasing electricity-based heat generation.

For Premekon, the Patola contract is a continuation of Helen’s Eiranranta heat pump plant project, in which Premekon supplied steel structures for demanding underground conditions. The previous collaboration created a strong foundation for launching the new project.

The Patola project is a natural continuation of the Eiranranta project for us. We are pleased to continue our cooperation with Helen and to leverage our expertise as a full-service supplier of steel structures in this project as well.

Deliveries for the Patola project will take place during the winter and spring of 2026. The delivery scope includes maintenance platforms and steel structures designed for industrial environments, with a strong emphasis on safety, functionality, and ease of installation.

The new order strengthens Premekon’s position as a supplier of steel structures for energy and industrial projects, as well as a long-term partner in domestic energy developments.
