Premekon has developed an efficient standard stair tower structure that allows all welding to be done before delivery, leaving only bolted connections for on-site assembly.
Stair towers are a convenient, free-standing outdoor solution for easy access to different levels. The straight flights of stairs are convenient to walk up or down, making stair towers an excellent official escape route. Stair towers can be built wide enough to allow for people to be carried down on stretchers in an emergency.
Stair towers are usually situated outside industrial buildings to provide access. In addition to the stairs themselves, stair towers consist of a steel frame, service platform and a railing for safety.
Our stair tower design process is extremely efficient thanks to our ready-made models. The design process can be started from the customer’s layout drawings or from dimensions taken on site, in which case initial design steps require only height, access locations and any restricting factors.
Elevation angle and the width and depth of the landings can be changed if necessary.
Can be used as a normal access route as well as an escape route.
